Welcome to The Illadel Project

The Illadel Project is an intergenerational EP that bridges the past and present, celebrating the legacy of Black musicians in Philadelphia while creating new opportunities for collaboration and innovation. This project not only highlights the city’s rich musical heritage but also invests in its future by supporting and uplifting emerging artists.

This portfolio showcases my work, including a documentary I was featured in and past collaborative projects that align with the mission of The Illadel Project. Through storytelling, live instrumentation, and mentorship, this EP will honor the artistry of those who paved the way while fostering a new era of creativity.

As I seek funding to bring this vision to life, I invite you to explore my journey, past works, and the impact The Illadel Project aims to make. Your support will help preserve a powerful musical tradition while ensuring the next generation has the resources to thrive

Project 1: PYRAMID

PYRAMID is a recent album I had the privilege of co-creating with my dad prior to COVID.  It has a similar infrastructure as the Illadel Project, but everything created was freestyled. We utilized Third Story Recording, and we merged out communities to create a fun and playful album. I also designed the cover.

Project 2: Sols of the VLLG

I was able to be featured in a documentary by GLBL VLLG during the pandemic. I got to see the process of how it was created. The intention and preparation inspired me to want to create this with the Illadel Project.

Project 3: The Rhapsody Gallery and more

During the pandemic, I began curating events consistently until 2023. I curated gallerys, wellness workshops and group excursions.

Project 4: Teaching with WCL

BRIDGE Session with World Cafe Live. I've been one of their teaching artists for my program, "The Art of the Emcee" for almost 3 years.
